This team organised disconnection and removal of our gas fire and installed our excellent Burley wood burning self cleaning stove. They overcame hurdles of venting and lining a curly chimney quietly, efficiently and without eventual mess. They fitted a new chimney cap on an awkward roof. All done tidily cleanly and swiftly. We would recommend them heartily. They deserved their cups of tea for they did not hang dawdle !!!

Kristel came to advise us before our renovation work. He then fitted our fireplace and wood burner to a high standard. Including opening up the original opening, fitting lintels, etc. He worked professionally and cleanly. Altogether a thoroughly good experience and result, and highly recommendable.

This company installed a wood-burner and flue for us last year. I was very impressed by the attention to detail and the obvious concern of the proprietor for our safety and well-being. The installation was carried out very efficiently with no mess. We have been using the burner regularly since then and have been thoroughly satisfied with it. I would recommend this company without hesitation and will certainly return if we move house and need another wood-burner.

Very professional attention to detail meticulous. very helpful from the first visit to the Showroom to the final installation. the two of them worked non-stop to complete the installation in a very professional manner and cleaned up after themselves. Excellent service and quality products installed without fuss or mess

We decided to have a log burner installed in our Victorian house.Our fireplace was in a bit of a state,but Chris recommended a builder who rebuilt the brickwork and laid a stone hearth.We were very pleased with the advice that Chris gave and are really pleased with the burner.We would definitely recommend Kristel .

Kristel Fireplaces fitted a Firebox to our open fireplace. We decided on balance that a woodburning stove would involve too much colateral damage. We were thoroughly advised by Chris regarding compliance with regulations over the size and thickness of the hearth plus a floor vent. The work was conducted over 2 days to allow materials to dry. There was no mess, no fuss and we are thrilled with the result. We have a super efficient fire kicking out masses of heat and we love the cosiness and thriftiness of the fire! Our neighbours have recently had the same company install a small woodburning stove, which involved lining the flue and a really realistic oak over mantle. They too are delighted with the result and it has transformed their sitting room.
